Refreshing Summer Drinks – Beat The Heat

1)   Watermelon and Strawberry Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 8 cups seeded watermelon
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries(halved)
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • sugar(as per taste)
  • 2 cups water

Directions

 Combine the watermelon, strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, and water in a blender. Blend until smooth.

2)   Apple Raspberry Juice

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup red Raspberry Jam
  • 4 cups apple juice
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions

  1. Gradually add apple juice to  jam while stirring with a wire whisk, mix well.
  2. Stir in lemon juice.

3)  Purple Mango Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup cubed frozen mango

Directions

Blend all ingredients together. Serve

4)  Masala Lemonade

Ingredients

  •  Juice of 4 lemons
  •  Sugar or Honey to taste
  • 2 tbsps Chat Masala or Jaljira powder
  • 2 Soda bottles (250ml) (fizzy mineral water)
  • 1 Cup Chilled water
  • Crushed ice
  • Lemon slices to garnish


Directions

  • Squeeze all lemons to extract juice and remove seeds
  • Pour water into a large jug. Add sugar and stir well to the get desired sweetness
  • Add chat masala, lemon juice and crushed ice. Again stir well
  •  When ready to serve, add soda
  • Serve in chilled glasses garnished with lemon slices

5)  Jal Jeera

Ingredients

  • Jal Jeera Powder(MDH)
  • Chilled Water

Directions

Mix Jal Jeera powder in Chilled Water. Stir well.
